What does our new CityLight bring?

Improved torsional rigidity

Despite its small thickness, the device boasts excellent torsional rigidity, which we have achieved by improving the internal supporting steel frame. The device is therefore stable and does not twist even in more severe wind conditions. The supporting frame of the equipment is steel and provides overall rigidity and stability. The supporting steel structure is galvanized. The cladding is made of aluminium profiles.

Perfectly illuminated-backlit poster

We are the only manufacturer (of the available manufacturers) on our market to have improved the backlighting of the poster for maximum backlighting effect. In our facilities, we only use full-screen roller backlighting with wide-dispersion optics that are capable of covering every inch of the visible portion of the poster with light without visible maps, spots or unlit areas. Which is virtually impossible with conventional competitive edge illumination, especially with the small thickness of the CLV. The client will never complain about the quality of the lighting again. We can customize the power consumption but the output luminous intensity in lux according to the client’s specifications.

Exceptional dispersion plateau

We are the only manufacturer (of the available manufacturers) on our market to have improved the dispersion plateau and have started to install unbreakable plates in our equipment. The plateau, as one of the most important components of the CLV, is the most stressed and subjected to regular and especially insensitive handling – once every 2 weeks. This manipulation often results in breakage of part or all of the dispersion plate. After breaking, a shadow is created which is transferred to the advertising poster, thus devaluing the client’s presentation. We have tested the plateau even in severe frosts and it absolutely retains its unbreakability in our climatic conditions. It is resistant to UV rays, yellowing and variable temperatures. Ideal operating temperature: -30 to +80 °C. Signs of degradation begin only at +100 °C and only with prolonged exposure.

Safety glass

Due to the very high vandalism rate, we use toughened 6 mm thick safety glass with anti-breakage safety film in our installations.

We are trying to eliminate damage to the electrical components of the CLV and especially possible personal injury caused by cutting bystanders. The damaged glass will remain in place and does not need to be replaced immediately, which is practically impossible as the operator may only become aware of such damage the next time the poster is replaced.

Material composition of the structure

Aluminium – forms the external – visual part of the device. Aluminium profile treated with powder paint according to the client’s wishes from the standard RAL swatch list.

Steel – forms the internal – load-bearing frame of the device. Ensures overall rigidity and stability. The supporting steel structure is galvanized. The protective layer is 90 μm.

Steel – forms the outer – covering fairing of the leg of the device. The galvanized sheet is treated with powder paint according to the client’s wishes from the standard RAL swatch list.
